Do WPC doors fade in sunlight? What is the warranty?

Our WPC compound includes built-in UV stabilisers and light inhibitors, and the surface is laminated with PVC or melamine that carries its own UV protection. Under normal interior use and shaded external use, colour change (ΔE) stays below 3 after 5 years, which is why we offer a 5-year fade and discolouration warranty.

The structural leaf — no swelling, no delamination, no hinge-loosening from dimensional movement — is also covered for 5 years. Hardware (locks, hinges, handles) carries a 2-year warranty. For fully sun-exposed south-facing façades we recommend upgrading to our aluminium door range, where the powder-coated finish is rated for 10 years exterior UV exposure.
