An importer who is about to commit a door programme to a Chinese factory should see it before placing a container. A day at Skylink is structured as a working audit, and buyers usually leave with answers that a catalogue cannot provide.

The Morning: Sample Room and Certification Wall
The visit starts in the sample room, where the five European market series are on display alongside wooden interior, WPC and aluminium entrance ranges. Before the floor walk, we lay the documentation on the table: CE/CPR marking, quality reports for and constructions, and the Intertek WHI C-Mark listing. You are welcome to read the reports, not just the folder.
The Production Floor: Three Bases, One Standard
We walk the steel door and door fabrication line first, because that is where most importer trust is won or lost. You see the cutting, welding, core filling, powder coating and hardware stations, and the in-process checks at each gate. Depending on schedules, the wooden and WPC/aluminium finishing lines at the other two bases can be arranged as a follow-up visit.
door Assembly and the Test Stand
For buyers, the door assembly area and the open-close test stand are the key stops: seals, gap measurements and hardware fitting all happen here, and you can check the construction against the test report yourself.
Packing and the Drawing Review
The floor walk ends at the packing and loading area, where sea-freight cartons are assembled. After a short break, our sales engineers sit down with your drawings: renderings are converted to shop drawings in-house, sizes follow your project measurements, and OEM/ODM branding options are discussed.
Documents You Can Take Away
By the end of the day, you leave with more than impressions. A buyer usually walks away with a marked sample list, copies of the relevant certificates and test reports, a first sizing discussion, and a written draft of lead time and MOQ for the door types you source. For first-time visitors we also bring along a recent, comparable shipment file so you can see how a real order is documented from drawing to container.
What to Prepare
Bring your project drawings, your market's hardware and finish conventions, and your target volumes. Send your agenda requests to the Skylink export team in advance; we tailor the day to whether you source doors, security doors, interior doors or entrance ranges. Lead times start at 25 working days and MOQ at 10 sets.
